Kicking and coaching is something that has been developed over the almost 20 years now being involved in kicking. After graduating from Saltfleet, I went onto the University of Toronto where I was named the rookie of the year. From there I signed a full NCAA scholarship to Utah State University as a kicker spending two years there. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers picked up my rights after being named the 4th rated special teams player in the CFL draft. In 2008,  I signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and attended training camp. I attended Western  from 2008-2011. During my time there I was named a two- time 2nd team All-Canadian as a punter, a two-time 1st team OUA All-Star as a punter. I own the USports playoff record and co-own the Western record for field goals in a game with 6, and record 22 field goals in a play-off season. I won two Yates Cups and went to a Vanier Cup. I had three seasons at Western averaging over 41 yards per punt and garnered many OUA special teams player of the week awards.

After graduating with an Honours Health Science and Bachelor’s of Education degree, I began coaching at in 2012 as an assistant special teams coach at Western.  I have coached multiple USports All-Stars including Marc Liegghio, Nathan Mesher, TJ Morton, Keiran Burnham, Ryan Lambert, Findlay Brown, Mike Domagala, Zack Mederios . At Western, I coached CIS career points record holder and two-time OUA All-Star and 2013 2nd team All-Canadian kicker Lirim Hajrullahu. Lirim has gone onto the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Toronto Argonauts and currently the Hamilton Tigercats. Lirim has been named a division All-Star, Rookie of the year and is a Grey Cup Champion. Currently at Western I coach Mustangs kicker Marc Liegghio. Liegghio owns the USports records for consecutive field goals with 22 and the USports records for points in a season. Liegghio was a 2016 and 2017 OUA All-Star and a 2017 All-Canadian as a kicker.

In 2015 I was invited as a guest coach for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for one week during the regular season.  As a coach, I have won two Yates Cup, and this past season won a Vanier Cup as part of the Western Mustangs coaching staff. I currently coach many of the top kickers in Canada as part of CKES year round across Southwestern Ontario.
